NieNie’s Story

Thursday, May 6, 2010 by Lolli 7 Comments

Have you heard of Nie Nie? I would imagine that most people who spend any time blogging have come across her site, NieNie Dialogues, or her button, or her story.

Stephanie and I share a little something. I have not met her nor have I been in an accident like she has. But I am a mother like her. I am a blogger like her. And we share a common faith.

I found this new video of Stephanie talking about her accident, her recovery, her blogging, and her faith. And I felt so inspired by her words that I had to share.

Blogging is powerful. It has certainly sustained me through a rough few years. I am grateful that I can share some of my thoughts, no matter how silly or insignificant, with some of you. Thank you.

I adore NieNie. I loved her before the accident, and these days, I am inspired and moved every time I visit her site. Thank you for posting this lovely tribute to her.

My favorite line in the video was “I am not my body.” Amen.

I just sat and watched that with my 5 year old, and we both learned so much, about a lot of things.

    Thank you for sharing.
