We made it to the pumpkin patch yesterday. Our annual trip to the pumpkin patch is one of my favorite times to take pictures (and probably my favorite pictures to scrapbook). Candyman and I love to look back at our yearly trips and compare the clothes we were wearing…Some years we’ve got short sleeves, and others we’re wearing our Winter coats already. I think this year has all others beat, though. When we pulled into the parking lot, our car read 94 degrees. Mid-90s at 5:00pm in October?! Crazy!
We were a little rushed because we had to be back by 6:00 for Necco’s first Brownies meeting (well, 6:00 was the goal, but 30 minutes in traffic threw us off…) But we still had fun. There was only one other family at the pumpkin patch–I guess everyone else is waiting for the cool weather to come in.
Reese threw quite a fit on the way there, and for the first 30 minutes we were there. She was convinced that she had a pumpkin shirt, and she was determined to wear it. And then AJ cried for the entire traffic-filled ride home. I wasn’t surprized when CM went to bed before the kids. It was a tiring evening. But it’s all worth it for the pictures, right?
PS–Apple has gotten into the habit of making this face when he’s told to smile for the camera. LOL!
