"PLANE PARK!" (aka– Gravelly Point)

One of our favorite Spring Break traditions has been our yearly trip to Gravelly Point, a big park right next to National Airport. We pack a picnic lunch and lay out the blankets and watch the airplanes fly in or out of the airport. They look like they are close enough to reach up and touch! This year, I think we had the biggest group ever. There were 9 adults (if I am remembering correctly!) and probably 40 kids. Wow! They had so much fun running around, playing ball, and “chasing” the planes. And the weather was even more perfect than yesterday. But now, I’m ready for a nap. Tomorrow, I get to have my special spa treatment afternoon. Yeah!!
