The weekend is almost here again and it’s time to start thinking about the weekend plans. One of our favorite things to do on Friday night is drive by a Redbox and pick up a DVD to watch as a family.
What is Redbox?
Just in case you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years, here’s a little information about Redbox:
Redbox provides new movie releases on DVD and Blu-ray Disc through its network of conveniently located, self-service kiosks. They also provide video game rentals in their kiosks as well. Redbox has rented more than one billion movies and is available at more than 26,000 locations nationwide. At www.redbox.com not only can visitors check the availability of new releases at their local kiosk, they can also reserve a copy!
What I love about Redbox
- Convenience: There are a ton of kiosks around my home, which makes it easy for me to stop to pick up a movie or a game while I am out running errands.
- Affordability: I love the amazing price of just around a dollar per night. DVD rentals are $1.20 per night, although the price is only $1 if you rent online for the rest of the month. Game rentals are $2.12 per night.
- Flexibility: I love that rentals are not “late” if I don’t get them back by 9pm the next night. If we want to watch a movie or play a game a few more times, it’s totally ok. I’m just charged for the time that I’ve had the disk out. No late fees.
- Selection: I can count on finding the new movie releases I want to watch at Redbox. And since I can look up titles online before heading out, I know exactly which movies are at which locations. Saves me a ton of hassle.
- Rental codes: I love a deal, and I appreciate the frequent deals I find for Redbox codes. Whether it’s an online special, a code included on a food purchase at the grocery store, or a code tested to my phone, I can enjoy freebies regularly.
My experience with Game Rentals
We’ve had a DVD player for years (and we’ve used Redbox for several years, too), but we’ve only had a Wii for a few months. This past week was the first time I tried out the Redbox game rentals and I am totally SOLD on it. I love that I can pay a few bucks to play a game, and then decide if we want to buy it or not. Absolutely brilliant!
Enter to Win DVD rentals from Redbox!
Redbox has given me 20 rental codes to give away to Better in Bulk readers! Entering is super easy…..if you’d like one of the rental codes, simply leave a comment on this post telling me what movie you’d love to rent.
This giveaway will end on 11/10/11….and codes will be mailed out in time for renting a movie or a video next weekend! Each code is unique and can only be used once, but they are valid at any Redbox kiosk. So, if you have a Redbox near you, you are eligible! Winners will be picked at random and mailed a Redbox rental code.
Disclosure: Redbox provided me with 5 rental codes to use for my family. No other compensation was received. Al thoughts and opinions about Redbox are my own.
