I remember shopping for my engagement ring way back in early 1995. Oh, I feel so old typing that! I went for something very simple: a yellow gold solitaire. I had been wearing an opal ring since I was 12, and my secret desire was to find a ring that was similar in design to that opal ring I’d gotten from my parents.
The solitaire worked just fine, and the addition of a 5-diamond anniversary band in 2006 made my wedding set “perfect” in my eyes. I love my ring and all it represents.
Still, though, I love browsing through jewelry stores and eyeing the beautiful new styles and the sparkling diamonds. Like this one from Since 1910:
I’m drooling a little.

I like pretty baubles….
I have a very naughty, 5 year old Chocolate Lab…..

Just wanted to say that on their page, it doesn’t actually have you say why you think you should win. You just enter your name & email & “like” them.
Thanks for posting about the contest! It is a really pretty ring!
