Since 1910 Diamond Giveaway

Friday, March 18, 2011 by Lolli 3 Comments

I remember shopping for my engagement ring way back in early 1995. Oh, I feel so old typing that! I went for something very simple: a yellow gold solitaire. I had been wearing an opal ring since I was 12, and my secret desire was to find a ring that was similar in design to that opal ring I’d gotten from my parents.

The solitaire worked just fine, and the addition of a 5-diamond anniversary band in 2006 made my wedding set “perfect” in my eyes. I love my ring and all it represents.

Still, though, I love browsing through jewelry stores and eyeing the beautiful new styles and the sparkling diamonds. Like this one from Since 1910:

I’m drooling a little.

Why am I talking about engagement rings today? Since 1910, a family owned jewelry business in New York and they are celebrating 100 years of business with a HUGE giveaway. Huge like that diamond above.

Since 1910 is giving away diamonds.

One grand prize winner will receive a 1 carat diamond Tacori Engagement ring, valued at $7,500. Four 2nd place winners will be given an 18k 925 necklace, valued at $1,500 and 95 3rd place winners will be awarded Tacori jelly bean earrings, a $150 value.

The contest runs now through May 1st. To enter the giveaway, simply “Like” Since1910.com’s Facebook page and post a note to explain why you should be a winner. Winners will be selected after all entries are accepted on May 1st. From May 1st to August 1st, one winner will be announced every day and on August 1, Since1910.com will announce the grand prize winner of the 1 carat diamond Tacori engagement ring.

To view official rules, visit Since1910.com.

Note: This is a sponsored post. And I m totally entering this contest. A girl can never have too many diamonds, right?

“Liked” of FB! Such pretty things!

Why do I deserve to win?? Hmmmm, I don’t know! I still WANT to win though!! :)

    Maybe because:
    I have 4 kids…
    I am a military spouse….
    I like pretty baubles….
I have a very naughty, 5 year old Chocolate Lab…..

Just wanted to say that on their page, it doesn’t actually have you say why you think you should win. You just enter your name & email & “like” them.

Thanks for posting about the contest! It is a really pretty ring!
