I drove up to my sister’s house again today, and after we put the kids to bed, we sneaked out of the house for a fun girls night out.
My sister lives down the street from Hershey Park and she knows the super awesome park secret (you can get into the park for free after 9:30 pm).
We rode three rides (including the carousel), carried no purses, pushed no strollers, and laughed like teenagers.
And the kids totally thought we were at the grocery store.

I’m so stinkin’ late to WW, but I made it nonetheless. lol I smiled while reading this in my email. How great that you were able to run off and spend time with your sister. Makes me wish that I had a sister. :(
Good for you! It’s nice to take a little bit of time for ourselves, especially when the kids are asleep! My 4 sisters, mom, and I have snuck out and gone to a late movie, or shopping. Now I live halfway across the country from them, and I miss that!
That sounds wonderful. My sister lives 8.5 hours away from me. =( I wish we could do stuff like that.
We didn’t have enough time to feel guilty. We only had time for 3 rides before the park closed. I did feel a little bad when I got a text from my 8 year old saying that my 6 year old was sad and wondered when we were going to be coming home.
I’d LOVE to be able to go to Disney with a bunch of bloggers!!
I love those pictures – they’re even better because you don’t have make up on!!
I went to Disneyland with some bloggers last week – no kids – and had just as much fun!!! I felt a little guilty, though… did you?
What an awesome girls night! Oh to be at an amusement park without strollers…I barely remember what that feels like. :)
I just love this!!!!
Oh I want this so much! I would love for this to happen at some point in my life! Happy to have met you via She Speaks Blogger Society. Lovely post!
Sounds like so much fun! My kids go to bed at 8 p.m. and I love to go out by myself or with friends after they are asleep! Or I just hang out with the hubby… alone!
How fun! I need to sneak out of the house one of these days!
Make-up-less iphone pics? Priceless.
I just got back from vacation with my big sister. It’s crazy how we managed to entertain ourselves!
Sneaking out with your sister in itself means fun, but the fact that you got to go to an amusement kid-free totally ROCKS!
Thanks for join *Tina´s WW*. Can you please also link back? :) Thanks :)
You’re making me miss my sister! =)
Happy Wednesday!

Cookin’ for my Captain
That is so cool!
Makes me wish I lived close (or within driving distance at least!) to my sisters! :)
You two silly sisters! What a fun day!
Haha, that’s awesome! I love rides. Glad you all got to escape for a little while :)
That is awesome! No stroller and just the moms.
Ohhh fun time with your sis… gotta love sneaking out sometimes!! Moms are so dangerous! Haha. PS, your link worked ;)

Aw, I wish I lived near my sister – with a theme park around the corner! LOL! I would love to be able to have fun (sans kids) with her! It’d be just like old times! :-)
That is really exciting. I love things like this. :)
Now that sounds like an awesome girls’ night! :)
