I feel kind of funny posting pictures of snow in New York City when we’re snowed in with mountains of snow right outside our front door.
It’s funny to see how everyone copes with a snow day after we’ve had so many snow days this year. Daughter number one is enjoying the day off work by laying low. Daughter number two is in the kitchen baking goodies. The teenage son slept on the couch past lunch time. The two youngest have gone back and forth between shoveling snow outside and watching Netflix under warm blankets downstairs. CandyMan and I have been trying to fit in a little work.
Rewind to last weekend – I loved seeing the snow-covered Central Park. Despite the 20-degree weather, I enjoyed walking around and enjoying the beauty that is New York City in the winter.

I love the photos of the cardinal- such a bright contrast to the white and brown of winter.
Such amazing photos! Glad you were able to brave the cold to take them! I would love to visist Central Park. I really love the photo of the carved tree.
Cardinals in the snow…beautiful.
It is a pleasure for me to look at these pictures (no wonder, because we had so far only for 3 days a few snow flakes). Enjoying the cardinals… Thanks for sharing, have a great Valentines day
Love the contrast with the cardinal!
Ooh, I love that tree trunk with all the names carved on it!
Stay warm. :)
