Snowy Day #WW

Tuesday, January 21, 2014 by Lolli 10 Comments

I’m convinced more and more that the attitudes and opinions of parents really do rub off on their kids. Because my kids seem to hold my opinion on snow – It’s pretty, I enjoy having a day to sleep in (although technically, today was an already-on-the-calendar teacher work day that just happened to be snowy), but I’d rather “enjoy” it via pictures and movies.

HAHA winter is not even close to being over and I am already sick of the snow. I didnt get any good picutres with the last storm. Best pictures are during the sticky snow that sticks to the trees.

Beautiful picture! We haven’t gotten any snow yet in GA this winter season. I hope we get just a little bit!

I feel the SAME way, Shelly! I love looking at snow, but I don’t love the inconvenience of getting around in it. Whether it’s driving to the store or walking the kids to school in it…yuck!

I know what you mean about the cold! It’s 8 degrees right now here in MD. But as a California girl, I would personally rather keep things a few degrees above and below 70 at all times. lol

I’ll be out with my camera today for sure. Yesterday the snow was coming down hard enough most of the day that I didn’t venture out much. ;)

Beautiful picture! It snowed here last night as well, but I’ll have to save those pictures for next week. Enjoy the snow.

I don’t mind the snow. I live in Maine, so I really can’t complain about it. It’s the cold (it’s 3 right now) that gets me. We have amazing summers, so it’s all worth it!

I love snow but only to look at lol. snow and frosted trees is absolutely beautiful to look at. But I hate driving in snow. So the hate driving in snow wins over seeing the beauty of snow. Now if it could just not snow on the streets and sidewalks then that would be perfect.
