I am counting down the minutes before my kids head to Spring Break. I can’t wait! I’m trying to get things ready so that I can be out of the house as much as possible for the whole week.
I found these pictures from Spring 2009, when my kids were a few feet shorter. I am so excited to take the kids on this hike for the first time this year – it’s one of our favorite place in the world!
Spring Break Flash Back
I love the story behind this picture…Reese was wading in the creek when the current pulled her flip flop right off her foot. It got caught on the other side of the creek, and the water was too deep for her to reach it. Her big brother, Twizzler, volunteered to rescue the shoe. He was the hero of the day!

I couldn’t wait until my son’s spring break started this year, especially because that meant more outdoor fun! This looks like a great place to explore nature. The kids look so happy…what a good big brother to help! Enjoy the weekend. :)

Time to get more pics of y’all this year. Maybe get 2009 pics and then 2014 pics together. I’d love to see the difference with how they’ve grown in the pics and see how much they have changed
