Spring Easter Egg Button Wreath

Tuesday, March 25, 2014 by Lolli 14 Comments

When my friend, Lisa, was over at my house last Wednesday, we were chatting about crafts. Lisa has been rocking the crafts for me lately. I happened to mention to her that I had found a bag of buttons at the thrift store that I just *had* to buy and was trying to figure out a fun way to use them in a Spring craft.

Lisa asked if I’d like her to come up with something. After her Pinch Proof Onesies and DIY Photo Blocks, how could I turn that offer down?

I was confident that Lisa would create something beautiful, but I was blown away when she emailed me this picture the very next day:

I couldn’t wait to share her awesome Spring Easter Egg Button Wreath, using just a few simple materials: cardboard, yarn, buttons, tulle and ribbon.

The materials:

Lisa has made it so easy to make this Spring craft. To get ready, gather materials listed above and then print out the PDFs of the wreath template: Top to Print and Bottom to Print.

Then follow the visual directions below. Have fun with it!

That’s it! Isn’t it adorable?

I can’t wait to get back to the thrift store to find more fun materials for our next craft!

That’s one crafty friend you have there m’dear. I would have spent forever pondering before I actually came up with something…if I came up with something. It’s really very pretty and would be a great thing to do with children.

Very creative craft! I love that you can just change the colors (red & green for Christmas, etc) to create other wreath crafts. Maybe even some for kids to do and decorate their rooms!
