Life seems to be settling down just a little bit, which means we’re due for a little excitement, don’t you think? (And I am NOT referring to the election!) We do have a little family trip to Hersheypark planned for this coming weekend, a new car to test drive for the week, and a trip for my husband and youngest son to visit family next week.
So basically, I take back the thing about “my life settling down.” I need to resign my self to the happy chaos that is here to stay.
This past weekend was a baking weekend, and my tummy couldn’t be happier. And since the pumpkin cookies that I made fit perfectly with this week’s Thanksgiving theme, I figured I’d drop the recipe here before I get on with the rest of the party. Enjoy!

I’ve also got a fun collection of Thanksgiving recipes and crafts that I’ve written for the Kroger blog. Check out my roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon and onion, sparkling cranberry lime seltzer, a DIY rustic wood flower centerpiece, and a Thanksgiving thankful jar.
