The Only Thing Powerful Enough To Keep Me Away…

Tuesday, May 29, 2012 by Lolli 2 Comments

I spend quite a bit of time on my computer each day. Between writing and social media “maintenance” and photo editing, it’s not much of an exaggeration to say that I spend most of my time here at my desk.

Luckily, I love this. Not much can keep me away for long. Heck, I even blog through vacations.

It seems, though, that there is one thing with an influence strong enough to keep me away from my computer for an extended period of time.

Her name is Mom.

My mom has been visiting for the past few days, and she has been keeping me busier than normal. But I’ve also found myself feeling less and less need to be tied down to my computer.

Don’t worry….I won’t be gone for long. I still love this space and love all of the people who fill it. But I am loving being spoiled by my mom today.

Isn’t it funny how we never get too old for Mom?

Very sweet post. I hope my children feel the same way about Melissa and me when they are adults. And I would love to have one more day with my mom.
