The Vision and Perspective of a 5-year-old

On the way to pick up Reese’s Dora sunglasses that she left at the doctor’s office the other day, this is what she said to me:

Reese: “Mom, I think I need new glasses.”

Me: “Why, hunny? Your Dora glasses are new.”

Reese: “Well, I can’t see very well. When I look at things far away, they look SO TINY. And when I look at things that are really close to me, they’re HUGE!”

(She’s obviously been listening to her big sisters discuss their need for glasses!) Below is Reese’s well-loved Lamby, who was my subject for playing around with color and white balance settings on my camera. :) Can you tell how much a certain 5-year-old loves her lamb?? Would you have even known it was a lamb? Haha!
