This Sheet Works!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Purex. All opinions are 100% mine.

Hey, fellow moms. How many hours a week do you think you spend doing laundry?

Me? I’d say, I spend upwards of 8 hours a week collecting, washing, drying, sorting, folding, and putting laundry away.

Thank goodness my kids are getting older. In fact, my oldest daughter, KitKat, is now in charge of helping with the laundry. At least twice a week, she gathers all of the dirty laundry and does a few loads. After she’s washed and dried the clothes, Necco sorts everything into baskets and each family member is in charge of folding and putting away their clothes. It helps. A lot.

It hasn’t always been so easy. Back when I met CandyMan, we were living in a three story apartment complex with outdoor stairs. Both of us lived on the third floor, and the laundry was on the ground floor. Granted, I had a lot less laundry to deal with back in my single days, but it was still a pain to lug a full laundry basket and container of soap down to the laundry room every time I was out of underwear.

Flash forward a “few” years. When I was training KitKat to help with the laundry, there was more than one time that I smelled the clothes coming out of the washing machine and smelled….well, let’s just say it smelled less than fresh. She would either forget the soap or put just a few sprinkles in.

And then there was the whole “don’t wash the red sweatshirt with Dad’s white dress shirts” thing….

Last week, I was sent a sample of Purex 3-in-1 Laundry Sheets. I was skeptical. Detergent, anti-static, and dryer sheet in one? But, considering how many loads of laundry I do each day, I figured I’d give it a try (or two). I dropped the sheet into the wash. Immediately, it started sudsing up. When the wash was done, I popped everything, including the now-white dryer sheet, into the dryer. When the buzzer sounded at the end of the cycle, I pulled out a full load of soft, great smelling clothes. Seriously. It worked.

I have to mention here that CandyMan was in the room when I watched this video. Neither of us could stop laughing. Seriously, if you skipped over the video, you’ve got to go back and watch it.

Now.

I’ll wait.

That video is hilarious but I made the mistake of watching it in front of my kids. Now Claire is running around saying, “I say sheet!” I say sheet!”

Off to get my free sample.

    Thanks.
