The spammers, that is.
As much as I dislike spam comments, I have begun to almost look forward to my daily checking of the blog spam folder. Because a handful of real comments get sent over to the spam folder by mistake, I feel compelled to read through (or at least skim through) the comments. After making this a regular occurance, I noticed several comments reappearing over and over again. And then there was the occasional “unique” comment that made me laugh out loud when I noticed which post it was attached to. So a few weeks ago, I started keeping track of some of the most entertaining comments filling my dashboard. Here’s a short list of the best. When no post is attached to the comment, it most likely means that I get that particular comment all. the. time. When a post is attached, it probably means that the post topic adds to the humor of the comment left.
Recognize any of these?

I particularly appreciate the way you’ve been able to stick so very much believed into a fairly short submit (comparitively) which creates it an thoughtful post on your subject. Hilarious! It’s nice that they are at least flattering, despite being oddly worded and riddled with grammatical errors. I always get thanked for helping them with a college paper on a post that isn’t really that informational. Or how much they look forward to future posts!

I think number five is my favorite, but they’re all pretty funny. I seem to have a knack for getting comments written in Chinese, or some website that compiles SEO stats and blogs, offering to list my blog if I’ll put their bug on my front page.
Yours are much more entertaining!
