I haven’t met anyone who doesn’t love to take a vacation…but in the same breath I haven’t met very many people who have the same definition of what “the perfect vacation” is.

Whether you prefer relaxing on a beach, seeking adventure off the beaten path, indulging in local cuisine or playing a round of golf, Puerto Rico has everything you need for a nice relaxing vacation. And if members of your travel party can’t agree on the “best” way to spend vacation time, then EVERYONE can stay happy with all that Puerto Rico has to offer.

top 5 things to do in puerto rico

What is your perfect vacation?

For the traveler seeking relaxation: Relax on Puerto Rico’s TOP beaches – Puerto Rico has 270 miles of coastline and featured in the Top 10 beaches from Travel Channel, including Flamenco Beach in Culebra, which is often cited as one of the best beaches in the world.

For the traveler who wants to connect with nature: Puerto Rico boasts the ONLY rainforest under US national park service. Hike and explore El Yunque’s 28,000 acres of subtropical rainforest – El Yunque is listed as one of the world’s top 28 New 7 Wonders of Nature.

For the traveler seeking adventure: Explore Camuy Caverns  – Adventurers can explore the magnificent Camuy Caverns that runs through the 3rd largest subterranean river in the world.

For the Foodie: If traveling means enjoying exotic foods, then Puerto Rico has delicacies (and RUM for those of you who drink!) that will not disappoint.

For the golf fanatic: Puerto Rico has 25 golf courses around the island to choose from, with fairways suited for beginners to pro.

Puerto Rico is a 5-star vacation destination filled with world-class attractions. Not only does Puerto Rico have everything that you want in a nice relaxing vacation, but there’s no need for foreign money or a passport. Just hop on a plane and start relaxing!

I I would love to visit a rain forest. The science geek in me has always been fascinated with the amazing variety of animals and plant life. And the medicinal possibilities of those plants is immense. Yes, I am one of those tree huggers always pushing to save the rain forest!
