I forgot to mention that I did have a resolution to the Christmas card dilemma last week. I found plenty of discounted cards at Giant, printed off a very simple slip of paper to insert in the card, and enlisted the help of my kids. One person to put a photo and a piece of paper in, one person to put it all in the envelope, one person to put a stamp and label on the envelope, and one person to seal the envelope. Sorry, no signatures or personal messages. I had a deadline! In practically no time, we had this:
And to think that the Christmas cards were stressing me out so much! They were mailed on New Years Eve, so I figured they were still OK to be called Christmas cards. December=Christmas, right? Those on my regular mailing list should have received theirs by now. If you have not been on my list in the past and would like a late card, I still have about 100 family photos and a sheet of holiday stamps. I would be happy to throw one in the mail for you! I’d love to gather more addresses for next year’s cards…so I’m better prepared! Feel free to e-mail me.
PS–one more (fun) project…I gave my recipe blog a new look and a new button. I like it better, but I am still SO not a designer!
