Wendella Boat Tour of Chicago’s Architecture #PSF

When I was in Chicago a little over a week ago for my sister’s wedding, my family took a little tourist break. Here are a few of the photos I took with my phone of Chicago’s Original Architecture Tour® with Wendella.

Wendella Chicago's Original Architecture Tour

About Chicago’s Original Architecture Tour®: Departing from the Wendella Dock at Trump Tower, an expert tour guide in Chicago’s architecture and history leads you through all three branches of the Chicago River. This 75-minute tour highlights Chicago’s rich architectural heritage, with dramatic views of residential and commercial buildings along the river. During this tour you will discover a wide range of architectural styles designed by notable architects Mies van der Rohe, Bertrand Goldberg, and Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. This tour is kid-friendly and suitable for everyone, especially those interested in the history of Chicago’s architecture.

I think my kids would have really enjoyed it, too. I’m hoping to take them to Chicago sometime. It’s a great way to see the city.

I was so glad that we could see a bunch of the city in one shot like that….and in a relaxing way (without having to walk the entire city). This was my first time visiting Chicago and my time was short so we had to make the best of that time.

Thanks! It was a little windy and cool but we really had fun. It was great to learn about the city thru the buildings.

Chicago looks amazing and it looks like a lot of fun to go on a Wendella Boat tour. I see that the sites of Chicago are so great to look at and maybe someday I will see this awesome city!

My husband and I went on that tour when we spent a day in Chicago two summers ago! The tour guide was great but it rained on us half the time! I still got some good pictures though :)
