A Fun Bunch – #PSF Give Me Your Best Shot

Thursday, January 3, 2013 by Lolli 7 Comments

Kristin is one of my oldest friends in this area, and the person that inspired me to get into photography many, many years ago. Her family was my very first family portrait subject, back when her kids were little and I was still using film and had a dark room in my upstairs bathroom.

A few years ago, I took pictures of her kids, then teens, as her oldest son was getting ready to graduate from high school. Now three out of her four have graduated, and since everyone was home for the holidays, we knew we had to update the family pictures.

The day we picked was freezing cold and windy, and this was probably the fastest family photo shoot in history, but I loved how some of the pictures turned out.

Don’t they look like a fun bunch?

I adore her funky curly hair… I always wanted mad curly hair when I was her age, seemed to me the girls with mad curly hair had more fun. No idea why.
