Chunky Bunnies – DIY Spring Craft

Wednesday, March 25, 2015 by Lolli 23 Comments

Welcome to Food Fun Family!

I’m so glad you’re here! You’ve probably seen this adorable Chunk Bunnies craft on Pinterest and I’m so glad you’ve made it over here. I hope you’ll stay and look around a while!

What a FUN DIY Spring craft project! These Chunky Bunnies loo so fancy but they are really EASY to make!

My crafty friend, Lisa, comes up with the most adorable crafts to share on the blog (don’t believe me? See what she’s created for us already).

You'll love my new ebook - 10 Rice Krispie Treats Recipes! Download it free HERE!

I know that Lisa and I have both been eager to welcome spring (so far the handful of sunshiny, slightly warm days hasn’t quite satisfied my hunger for spring…I want more!). In honor of spring and Easter coming up in a few short weeks, Lisa made these adorable “Chunky bunnies” – a perfect decoration to get your home ready for spring.

As always, Lisa has included gorgeous step-by-step visual instructions for making this craft, so I’ll let her take it from here.

Materials Needed for Chunky Bunnies:

See the list below for the basic materials you’ll need to make your chunky bunnies. Important: after you’ve gathered your supplies, you’ll also want to print off this Bunny Ear Pattern (simply click that link to access the PDF that can be printed on your computer).

Couldn’t you use bags decorated like the bunnies to fill with treats for your family?

Thanks for the free printable ears. I can’t wait to try I am going to make several of them as we have lots of wood left over from construction on our addition.

These are adorable! I remember years ago making bunnies similar to these. But I think these are way cuter with the distressing, wiry whiskers, and the colorful fabric. thanks for sharing this cute project!
