Could Your Kitchen Use an Upgrade?

Wednesday, October 27, 2010 by Lolli 4 Comments

When I moved into my townhouse in April of 1998, my kitchen was everything I could have hoped for. It was spacious, had plenty of cabinets and a pantry, a big-enough refrigerator, a glass-top stove, and a dishwasher. Really, what more could a young mother of one need?

Flash forward 12+ years and I still love my kitchen….mostly. It would be nice if the shelves in my refrigerator weren’t falling apart. That time that the oven caught on fire was exciting…..but luckily a quickly replaced burner seemed to do the trick. We are apparently rough on our garbage disposal (what do you expect in a house of seven?). And my dishwasher quit working at the beginning of the summer.

I’ve been able to live with all of my kitchen’s quirks until the latest. Hand washing all of these dishes simply stinks (as does the dishwasher that keeps getting backed up even when we leave it alone).

It’s past time for new appliances!

How many of you have felt the same way?

Well, I’ve got good news! Sears Appliances and Kitchenaid are here to help. Simply submit a photo of your kitchen and 1-2 sentences to Sears and share why your appliances need rescuing!

Kitchen Aid sweepstakesWHAT: Sears Appliances and KitchenAid Rescue My Appliances Sweepstakes
