When we got married (years and years ago…) we ended up with multiple duplicate gifts. Our big day occurred before the days of Target wedding registries, so the only things we could register for were expensive department store towels and China.

Instead of stocking our newlywed kitchen, we were left with a shelf full of bread baskets and several other kitchen gadgets that we have never used.
How often do you open your kitchen cupboards and notice that un-used (or under-used) tool hiding in the back corner because you just don’t know what to do with it? My friend, Tara, has just released an ebook TODAY that is something that every kitchen should have…and I promise that it will NOT be one of those things to end up on the back shelf. In fact, her new book, Coffee Filters to Cheese Graters: Creative Ways to Use Just About Everything, will help give life and purpose to those kitchen items that have been forgotten and unappreciated for years.

Sorry I missed all of the launch festivities. but I hope the book is a huge success. I’m not sentimental about gadgets so I don’t keep them if I don’t use them, but the book looks interesting!

I would love to read this before I purge my kitchen drawers and cabinets; I would love to know how she repurposed a cheese grater

Great book with lots of neat ideas!

This does sound useful! Kitchen supplies are my weakness…I’ll buy something on sale, or because I need it for a particular recipe and then feel guilty about not using it. So some new suggestions would be very helpful.

This book would be awesome for me, I always come across things in are kitchen that I don’t use at all or use to use and I haven’t in a while, sometimes I want to just toss it, but I find myself asking myself what else can I use this for, but I end up stumped. I love creative ways to put things to use that can be helpful, or ease up my kitchen time. And the recipes would be a plus.

I’m so guilty of having gadgets I don’t use, but only if they were gifts. I tend to be very practical in anything I purchase. My Dad got me a kitchen aid mixer for our wedding and I was like “Ugh, I’ll never use this.” So it sat for 5 years or so, and now I use it all the time. What was I thinking?? LOL.

I’ve never attended a twitter party before and this really sounds like a wonderful book. I’m guilty of hanging onto a lot of kitchen gadgets that I don’t use…but you just never know if you might need it!
