I have an amazing mom. She has always been my cheerleader. My support system. And I had no idea how much I would still need her to be my cheerleader and supporter as an adult. Seriously, I never would have guessed when I was younger that a 40-something-year-old woman with 5 kids (and a son-in-law on the way) would still feel like such a KID and still need her mom so much.
When I saw the trailer for Eddie the Eagle for the first time, the story really resonated with me. Although I was never an Olympic hopeful, I loved Eddie’s spirit and the faith and support from his mother. I cannot wait to see this movie in theaters!

My mom supported me when I decided to leave a comfortable job and start my own business. It wasn’t something she would have ever done herself, but she knew it was important to me.

My mom has supported me by always giving me great advice and encouraging me.
my mother was not half as great as Eddie’s in supporting what i wanted to do in life. however, she did support me and help me when i was younger and riding horses by taking me to the horse shows and being a horse show mom. she was more supportive in the last yrs of her life, b/c i was her sole caregiver and took care of her for over 13 yrs.

My mom has always made me feel like i was the most important person ever, supported me in everything and convinced me of letting go of guilt when i felt i should have done more.
I had a female teacher that was nice and encouraged me in my talents. Otherwise…. there were not many positive female influences, so I work hard to be one for my kids.
