Everything Looks Better on Vacation – Wordless Wednesday

Tuesday, August 23, 2011 by Lolli 25 Comments

I am finally back home, and trying desperately to ease my way back into normal life while simultaneously preparing to speak at a conference this weekend and get the kids ready for the first day of school on Monday.

I have consigned myself to the fact that there will be no “normal” for at least a few more weeks.

And to think…..just a few days ago I was enjoying the mountains, the sunshine, the company of family members I did not have to bathe or feed or discipline.

Yes, I did get a haircut. Thanks for asking….

PS – the only child I brought along on the trip was my oldest daughter. The rest of the people pictured here are sisters and nieces and nephews. I love extended family!

Ok, this is too funny! The only child that belongs to me is the teen. I left the rest of my kids at home. The other kids are a mix of nieces and nephews from 2 of my sisters. What’s funny is that it works out to be 3 girls and two boys, just like I have! lol
