It took us over a month after graduation to finally get everyone together for my oldest daughter’s “official” graduation celebration. She chose to go to the Holocaust Museum followed by dinner at Sophie’s, our favorite Cuban restaurant in DC.
We had a fantastic time together, despite all of the time spent on our feet!

Congrats to your daughter and I am happy everyone had much fun!
Belated congratulations to your daughter! Good for her. Everyone in your first photo looks genuinely happy, and I love your shot of the Washington Monument. Thanks for sharing.
I have had the opportunity to celebrate a couple kids graduations and it is bitter sweet feeling
Congratulations to your daughter. You must be a proud Mom. It looks like you all had a great time.
Lovely pictures, sounds like fun. I’m glad you made the time for it. My parents didn’t do those things and it still bothers me. Because of that, I probably celebrate my kids moments to much. Congrats to your daughter, sounds like she has a bright future ahead.
Beautiful pictures! When I graduated we had just a small little party, nothing big or anything. I cannot wait until my daughter graduates, 6 more years to go.
i like the picture of the washington monument. looks like the entire family was happy during the graduation dinner. this was a unique way to spend a graduation celebration and i loved the idea.
I’m going to have to check out Sophie’s, I go up to DC a few times a year and always want to know the best places to eat around there.
What a wonderful way to celebrate her great accomplishment as a family. Good luck to her in college
Congratulations (belated) to your daughter! I know just how proud you must be, it seems like only yesterday since my son graduated, but it’s been six years. You have a beautiful family and from all of the smiling faces it looks like everyone had a wonderful time! I love the pictures!
Congratulations to your daughter! What a great choice to spend the day at the Holocaust Museum. I would really like to visit it next time we are in D.C. I think it would be a great experience for my kids.
Even though they’re a lot of work, I love family get togethers. And what a beautiful picture of the Washington Monument. Wow!
Love the lighting in the second pic! And congrats to the graduate, that sounds like a great celebration.
Isn’t it awesome watching them accomplish there goals and getting to share the celebration with them, proud parents you must be. Congrats to her! Great outing!
