Happy Birthday, Reese!!

Tuesday, March 11, 2008 by Lolli Leave a Comment

Today is Reese’s 5th birthday. Today was set to be a very busy day, so we decided to do her “party” last night. Reese was determined to have her birthday at Chuck E Cheese’s (don’t know why she decided on CEC–we hardly ever go there!) and so we headed up there with my sister and her family. Despite our late start (and our super-late return), we had a blast! Everything was perfect. Well, everything except Reese’s hair. Hehe! I think you can tell in Reese’s face that she was getting sick. Yep, she’s sick on her birthday, along with most of the rest of us. :(

Here’s her present from me–a grown up doll named Robyn. She loves playing with dolls and kept asking for another baby doll. I just gave it a little twist. This doll came with her own nylons and iPod!

By the time we got the Chuck E Cheese’s. Apple was asleep in his car seat. In typical Apple fashion, he stayed asleep when I put him in his stroller and then slept right next to all of the noisy games! He slept until the last 30 minutes, got up, ran around, and had one bite of pizza. Here’s proof:

Andrea and I had so much fun in the photo booth we had to do it 3 times!

Reese loves her Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin!! BTW–Vanessa was getting changed. She really did have clothes on while she played!

Apple woke up in a happy mood and ran around to all of the rides, so he was sure not to miss out on the fun!

Reese was thrilled with the prizes she got to take home after winning a bunch of games! After each game, she’d tear apart the tickets, so in the end, I had to help her deposit 143 individual tickets. Yikes!

Can you see Noodle’s new glasses?? Maybe I need to do a close -up. She is so pretty! (just don’t let her hear me say that!) She picked out High School Musical 2 frames, with red/pink heart accents on the sides!

Later tonight we’ll be having cake and ice cream, so I’ll update with those pictures. And maybe by then, I’ll be feeling better. I was hit hard last night with a crummy cold. I feel horrible! Kiwi was the only one to go to school today. We all need some rest (again!)
