Have Piano, Will Play – Photostory Friday

Thursday, August 4, 2011 by Lolli 12 Comments

I have a new item on my photo prop wish list.

After taking pictures of 1 year old twin girls today, I decided that I am definitely going to have to look for a kid-sized piano now.

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a prop catch babies’ attention for so long.

Now, I’m not saying the photo shoot was easy. It WAS 1-year-old twins, after all. But I am so pleased with the piano pictures. I can’t wait to go through the rest of the shots (and show them to the mama).

What have you been up to this week?

I am bursting with excitement over something fabulous I am participating in this weekend. While many of my friends are enjoying BlogHer in San Diego right now, mant MORE of my friends (and ME!) are enjoying the first ever BlogHop Conference at Home. A few dozen amazing bloggers are going to be sharing all you need to know to have a successful blog – tips, tricks, and secrets. Yes, I’ll be sharing how to chose the perfect profile picture. I hope to see you at the BlogHop Conference!

Those twins are cute! I have a vintage baby piano that I haven’t been able to use yet. It also needs new legs. I keep it just for this reason.

I’ll have to check out the Bloghop conference, Lord knows I won’t be driving down to San Diego this weekend for Blogher – although I have friends that are going. But heck, I have to stop being a flaky blogger first!

Indeed a fantastic photo prop! I’d love for one of them to become a pianist and then cherish these photos!

    That first picture is adorable!

Now that I take my kids photos myself, I am building up a good pile of props too!

    Lovely,pics… so sweet!

I had a baby piano when I was little and I remember loving it. It had different-color keys and I would just bang away, probably torturing whoever was in the room at the time. =)
