How To Make Bouncy Shoes – A 6-Year-Old’s Tutorial

Monday, January 16, 2012 by Lolli 4 Comments

While I am away from my computer for most of the day, enjoying my kids on their day off, I thought I’d share the tutorial that AJ, my 6 year old, wrote up yesterday at church.

How to Make Bouncy Shoes with Springs and Duct Tape

how to make springy bouncy shoes

I have to be honest….he set out to make a pair of bouncy shoes as soon as we got home. He found two springs in old flash lights and taped them to his shoes. Sadly, they did not bounce. And believe me….he tried pretty hard.

Regardless of the springy shoes’ success, I do think that AJ has a future in tutorials. Yes?

That’s pretty creative! And totally something my own six-year-old would try to do. :)

For a six year old to come up with this idea is really great.
    His handwriting is pretty good.
