Icing on the Cake (My Weekend in Pennsylvania, Part 1)

Sunday, September 12, 2010 by Lolli 26 Comments

I have so much I’d love to share about my weekend in Pennsylvania for the Philly Bloggy Bootcamp, but the details will have to wait. While I was making the final touches on my Powerpoint presentation in Mommy’s Still Fabulous’ basement, my sister was delivering her brand new baby girl. Since I was already away from the family, I figured an extra few hours on the trip home wouldn’t hurt anyone….and I made a stop at the hospital to visit my sister and my newest niece.

This little girl was a little over a month early, but she is doing amazing. She is perfect in every way, and I already adore her. Plus, my sister looks fabulous.  Holding my new niece and chatting with my beaming sister and brother in law were definitely the icing on the cake of a fantastic weekend.

WOW – now that’s one exciting weekend! It was great meeting you this weekend – and that presentation was fantastic.

Especially the hand-out, I love how it’s small enough to fit in my camera bag!

The collages are done with moirai compositor in Photoshop (I won it from I Heart Faces recently). The frames are done with an action (also in photoshop) form the Album Cafe. I love them both!

I could have sworn I responded to this last night, yet there’s nothing here this morning. Hmm. I can’t tell you how grateful I am that my camera problem was fixed. Now I just need to hunt down all those pictures of me form Saturday night. They’re scattered all over the place!
