Immune to the Cold – #PSF Give Me Your Best Shot

Thursday, February 7, 2013 by Lolli 6 Comments

What is it about little boys? I convinced AJ to let me take some quick pictures of him in his new outfit from Gymboree yesterday to prep for the post that will be coming up shortly. He was SO excited about his new clothes and was eager to wear them to school on Wednesday, but since it’s still in the 30s, I encouraged him to save the shorts for later and wear the t-shirt with a pair of jeans.

I figured we’d be as quick as possible out in the cold (he was wearing shorts and flip flops, for heaven’s sake!) but of course he got distracted by a game he made up and forgot all about being cold.

It was me, dressed in long pants and winter coat, who had to convince him to come back inside.

Brrr!!!

I wouldn’t mind having some actual shorts and flip flops weather right about now…

Is it strange that during the winter when it “warms Up” to like 33 degrees, we feel warm enough to go without a coat, but when it”s summer and it drops below 70 we are freezing? I get it, I’m right there with him in his shorts and flip flops!
