How I “Shop to Win” at Kohl’s + How YOU Can Win This $100 Giveaway!

I don’t go shopping for myself very frequently, but when I do I often head straight to Kohl’s (especially when I’m looking for new shoes).

While I was preparing for my latest trip to Orlando, I knew that I would want to find some new outfits to wear. I was thrilled to have an excuse just days before I left to take myself on a mini shopping spree at Kohl’s.

My first order of business was to head to the shoe department. I knew that I wanted to find a nice pair of comfy sandals for the Spring and Summer, and I’ve always had good luck at Kohl’s. My feet are very picky, and I will always chose comfort over price or style. The great thing about Kohl’s is that I have regularly been able to find comfortable shoes that were both affordable AND cute. I think I fared pretty well this time.

I also checked out some capris and tops, specifically looking for something nice but casual that I could wear for on the red carpet AND on a safari (which is a tough call to make!). I found the perfect combination:

AJ was pretty happy to do a little bit of shopping himself, and I was thrilled with the sale price of this bug catcher:

In the end, I came away with two wonderfully comfortable pair of capris, a nice shirt (which I was able to wear to the red carpet premiere AND the safari), a pair of super-comfortable sandals for the Summer, and a bug catcher for AJ. It all came in just under $100.

  58. we are taking our little grandson to myrtle beach in June, both his granny’s that it, and staying 7 days. He is so looking forward too it.We will mostly be just enjoying the beach & cooking meals in our room to save money. This would really make it fun , for we could get him some great summer water & sand toys, beach towels, flip flops, etc all the beach items we would need that kohls offers, thanks

  143. Clothes! My husband and I have both been losing a lot of weight (yea) and now we have no clothes. Also, some shoes for our kids. They are 4 and 19 months, seems we buy them new shoes every month!

  144. First off I’d have to find those sandals cause they’re super cute (maybe a different color so I wouldn’t be an absolute copycat). Then I think I’d look for a cute maxi dress for me and shorts for everyone else!

  151. I’d definitely get myself a new bathing suit and some new comfy flip flops I haven’t had a NEW bathing suit in years yet my kiddos get a new one EVERY year…how does that work? LOL

  169. Definitely could use some new clothes at this point. Kohl’s is usually my first stop when shopping for clothes when I’m not going to the thrift store.

  172. I love the prices that Kohl’s has on Lee jeans for women and I would love to get a pair for my and my mother. IF anything else is left than I would love to get a Keurig for my husband’s 50th birthday coming up.
