When my kids were little, I took them each to a community center where, among other things, they got to participate in singing time with one of the most fabulous people I have ever known. I miss her. About Maddy:
Miss Maddy is a mother of three, an experienced early childhood music teacher, and she holds a Masters degree in Social Work. Maddy loves young children and it shows! She first developed her interest in music and dance as a child performing in Irish step dance competitions in New York City and playing guitar with friends as a teenager. Maddy is actually a professional Irish musician and entertains families at area festivals in addition to teaching her music classes for young kids.
About Music With Maddy classes:
Maddy’s Music Together® semesters are comprised of 10 weekly, 45-minute classes. All classes are made up of “mixed ages” – ie, kids ages infant through 4 years old. Babies 9 months & younger are free with a registered sibling. Music Together is a community of families sharing songs, instrument play, movement, dance, and rhythm activities in a musically rich, relaxed and playful setting. Maddy makes music fun and all her classes are developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers, regardless of their own musical ability.
