Never Be Without WiFi Again with NETGEAR AT&T Unite

This is a sponsored post for the NETGEAR AT&T Unite mobile WiFi hotspot through SheSpeaks. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been on the road – whether traveling out of town or close to home waiting for kids to be done with lessons or an appointment – when I’ve wished that I could find some reliable WiFi. As a work at home mom, my “work day” is never 9-5. I’m often interrupted by errands – doctor’s appointments in the morning, piano lessons in the afternoon, scouts and church youth group activities in the evening. I often have to get creative with when and where I get my work done.

I almost always have my iPad in my purse wherever I go…but my iPad only connects to the internet through WiFi, and the park, the doctor’s office, and the school parking lot don’t have WiFi for me to connect to. Have you ever used a mobile hotspot? WiFi on the go can be a life saver when you’re away from home – or when the home internet connection goes out. I know we’ve all been there, scrambling. The Netgear AT&T Unite enables anyone to have a reliable mobile hotspot anywhere the go – swim practice, soccer games, the doctor’s waiting room, the park.

I’m not the only one in the family that likes to stay connected. The kids rely on an internet connection for homework and research, and my husband likes to stay connected on his iPad as well for his projects. One of the great things about the AT&T Unite is that it’s sharable. If your daughter needs it for a study group at a friend’s house, she can take it along. If your son needs to work on his homework while his brother finishes soccer practice, he can pack it along in his backpack. It even works great in the car on road trips or while carpooling around town.

I know that several cell phones now have hotspot capabilities, but a cell phone can’t as easily be sent off to another location. And unlike cell phones that go through batteries faster than a kid goes through candy, the AT&T Unite can provide reliable WiFi with up to 10 hours of battery life.

If you’re not sold already on this helpful device, here’s a run-down of the features of the AT&T Unite by Netgear.

AT&T Unite features include:

  • Ability to connect up to 10 WiFi devices
  • Up to 10 hours of battery life
  • An intuitive touchscreen
  • WiFi network details and data usage on the homescreen
  • A guest option: the ability to create a second WiFi network for one-time users
  • The ability to block/unblock specific WiFi devices directly from the Unite

So, I’m a gadget nerd…and this is just perfect for me. I’ve been with AT&T for so many years, and this is just another valid reason why! THanks for letting me know about this, I do a lot of work away from home, and I’m always in need of a way to stay connected!
