Party in a Box (a Mozaik Giveaway)

Wednesday, December 15, 2010 by Lolli 137 Comments

Sunday night dinner

Over the weekend, while my dad was in town, my sister and two nieces gathered at my house for a big pre-holiday family dinner. When I’m feeding a crowd, I really don’t like to use regular dishes because the clean-up afterwards takes as long as the food preparation before the meal….Especially when the dishwasher is out of commission. On the other hand, I am not crazy about using paper plates when I have slaved in the kitchen all day to make an incredible meal. Somehow the paper makes even the fanciest dinner look like an outdoor barbeque.

Luckily, the other day I was sent the 40-piece “party in a box” set by Mozaik, which includes eight place settings (forks, knives and spoons, salad plates and dinner plates). Mozaik is the perfect solution for those occasions when you don’t have enough dinner ware or for those days when you just don’t want to do the dishes. For under $10, Mozaik’s new Service for Eight kit is ideal to add to the dishes you already own or replace them for a holiday party or family gathering.

Designed to look like real permanent ware, Mozaïk is actually plastic party ware that can be washed and reused or simply tossed at the end of the night. I found the Mozaïk “party in a box” to be the perfect compromise between saving me time and making me look good. Gotta love that.

No one believed me when I said that the plates and silverware and the salad bowl were all disposable. When they saw me throw my plate in the garbage, I noticed several confused looks on kids’ faces. I assured them that it really was ok. I loved that!

Mozaik entertain with style

Mosaik products can be purchased at Amazon.com as well as CVS and many local grocery stores. Find a store near you!

How would you like to try Mozaïk out for yourself? I’ve got a Mozaik prize pack to give to one of my readers. The set includes the new Service for 8 kit (full 40 piece set), serving utensils, platter and bowl (pictured below).

We’re having friends over for New Year’s Eve, and doing dishes at midnight doesn’t sound like a great way to ring in the new year. I think I’ll be picking up some of these!

I have never seen this before. We are big time party hosts over here and LOVE this kind of stuff. I would use it for our New Years Eve gathering. It looks formal enough for such an occasion!

I liked on FB and Tweeted also!

    Thanks so much.
