You Love Your Pets, So Take the #Paws4Life Pledge

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Purina®. All opinions are 100% mine.

Did you know? Pets have proven to increase their owner’s health and happiness while promoting socialization, patience and motivation. That’s pretty awesome!

Happiness in black and white - puppies

I often think about the first time we dog-sat for my sister’s chihuahua brothers, Ace and Pudge. Two puppies in a new house? Pretty chaotic. And so much fun.

I loved seeing how my son stepped up to the plate and took care of the puppies, even waking up early every morning to take the two dogs out for their morning potty break. It was a lot of responsibility for him, but it did him so much good. He was happier, more alert, and more motivated to get to bed at night so he could wake up in the morning to take care of his puppies.

Although we have lots of dogs and cats in the family, we don’t have any in our little house…but we do have a turtle and two fish. I never would have guessed how much joy we could get from a little red eared slider, or how much satisfaction we could get from a couple of goldfish swimming around in our basement.

Tell me about YOUR pets! What do they add to your family?

Our pets bring us so much joy and comfort on a daily basis, and the least we can do as pet owners is help them to be healthy and happy. It’s a small way we can return the favor for all they add to our lives – a happy pet is a healthy pet.

A happy pet is a healthy pet – don’t you agree?

Purina® and Sam’s Club are teaming up to host the #Paws4Life Pledge. I’ve taken the pledge – it’s easy! Just go online and pledge to live a healthier lifestyle…as well as give your pet a healthier lifestyle, too. Purina® prides itself on producing healthy, nutritious pet food products, providing all the nutrients your pets need. And Sam’s Club is the perfect place to stock up on Purina® (your pet’s tummies will thank you!).
