At the end of our week babysitting my sister’s puppies, I realized I hadn’t sat the kids down to take pictures with them. Easy, I thought. Right?
No, not so easy.
Kind of like our week.
Puppies are delightful. My kids lit up whenever they were with the pups. My 11 year old son stepped up to the challenge of taking care of them (even getting out of bed early in the morning during vacation days to take them out to pee) but as much as Twizzler adores those puppies, the constant care and the messes to clean up got old after several days.
But in the end, we just loved the puppies. Even if they wouldn’t sit still for pictures with the kids.
And this is what most of the pictures looked like, if I even caught the dogs sitting still long enough to press the shutter button.
Puppies are hard work.

Aww, little cute puppies (and kiddos too ;) ).
cute! Pets never cooperate when you want them to! :)
They are all so cute!
It’s not easy getting photos of a puppy-or any dog! You did a great job.
Puppies are so much fun… my kids LOVE them too!! We don’t have any in our house though… I think my kids would flip if we did!! :)
Puppies ARE hard work, but oh so cute!
Yeah that is like taking on a 2 year old child. lol No wonder my parents never let me have one!
Awww they’re cute but as I told my 6 year old, way too much work!! (She’s been begging for a pet since forever….and it has to be a dog!)
What adorable photos!
Kids and dogs. Awesome. :)
Yes, puppies are such hard work! Especially if you’re still living in a hotel with one of them. Seriously. lol
Those are cute. I figure the pictures don’t always have to be perfect to get my point across or to just remind me of the memory or experience.
Ha, yes they are. Thats why we just borrow them too!
:)
