Puppies Are Hard Work #WordlessWednesday

Tuesday, January 8, 2013 by Lolli 17 Comments

At the end of our week babysitting my sister’s puppies, I realized I hadn’t sat the kids down to take pictures with them. Easy, I thought. Right?

No, not so easy.

Kind of like our week.

Puppies are delightful. My kids lit up whenever they were with the pups. My 11 year old son stepped up to the challenge of taking care of them (even getting out of bed early in the morning during vacation days to take them out to pee) but as much as Twizzler adores those puppies, the constant care and the messes to clean up got old after several days.

But in the end, we just loved the puppies. Even if they wouldn’t sit still for pictures with the kids.

puppies are hard work

puppies are hard work

puppies are hard work

And this is what most of the pictures looked like, if I even caught the dogs sitting still long enough to press the shutter button.

Puppies are hard work.

Those are cute. I figure the pictures don’t always have to be perfect to get my point across or to just remind me of the memory or experience.
