Rite Aid is my hero

Monday, November 10, 2008 by Lolli Leave a Comment

Another Monday morning and one more trip to the doctor. Yep, Taco finished his antibiotic on Friday, and by Sunday his strep was back. I am feeling so worn down. I needed something good to happen to pep me up today.

I headed straight to my normal pharmacy to get his Rx. They didn’t have the drug in stock, so I took the prescription to the CVS on the way home. After waiting in the store for the RX to be processed, they finally called my name to say the prescription was ready. I went up to pay…..and found out the antibiotic was $74!!! I was a little flustered, and told the pharmacist I’d rather call my doctor to see if there were any other alternatives. Yikes!

The doctor called in another prescription to my pharmacy…..and guess what? They didn’t have THAT one, either! So I needed to find another pharmacy. I decided to look online for any transfer Rx coupons, and found an amazing deal! After all that headache, I was able to go to RITE-AID, pick up my new prescription ($17 this time) in no time, and walk away with a $30 gift card! I didn’t think it was possible for anything to put a smile on my face after spending my entire day at the doctor and multiple pharmacies, but Rite-Aid did it. :)

On Saturday night while I was making dinner, Reese was sitting on the kitchen stool watching me. I’m not sure when she layed down, but she must have been REALLY tired. I tried brushing the hair out of her face, and I woke her up. She was in a great mood for having just woken up, and KitKat said, “I want to take a picture with her!” A double shocker.

Don’t you love the electric chair skeleton in the background?
