I have always appreciated the importance of breakfast, even though I am not a fan of cereal. At an early age, I discovered that I couldn’t last very long into the day without some morning food. Because cereal not my favorite, I began turning to yogurt in the morning quite often.

Yogurt is a good source of nutrients like calcium, protein, and vitamins A & D, plus yogurt has live and active cultures which are good for the digestive system. Add those benefits to the fact that I love the taste, and I’ve got a winner. I “build” on my cup of yogurt to make my breakfast (or evening treat) stretch a little farther. I love adding granola to my yogurt or throwing some yogurt in the blender with berries, juice, and ice for a yummy and healthy smoothy.

My kids aren’t fans of fruit in their yogurt so Trix yogurt, which has two colors in every cup and fruity “kids-only” flavors, is what they love. They always go for the cotton candy flavored yogurt. While my kids love the great taste, I love the wholesome goodness of yogurt, and the fact that they will pick a cup of yogurt over candy for an after school snack.

  26. Love all the new Fiber One that they have, the key lime is sinful if you put it in the freezer for about 30-45 mins…it’s like ice cream :)

  232. My favorite yoplait flavor is their banana creme, we’re big yogurt eaters in my home so this is a constant staple of our grocery-list.
