See Moana In Dolby Cinema at AMC #Moana

Monday, November 21, 2016 by Lolli Leave a Comment

I’m excited to introduce you guys to a unique way to enjoy Disney’s latest masterpiece, Moana, in theaters this coming week. I’ve already seen the movie with 3 of my kids (movie review to be coming soon) and when I told them we would be seeing it again this coming weekend, they shouted for joy. It’s that good! This post is sponsored by Dolby Cinema at AMC, but all thoughts are my own. #DolbyCinema #ShareAMC #Moana

Moana opens in theaters everywhere on November 23, just in time for Thanksgiving weekend theater plans. We always see a movie (or two) after Thanksgiving, and we can’t wait to see Moana again (and for the first time for the two family members who couldn’t make it to the early screening). One of my favorite things about Moana was the music (you can get the soundtrack right now on Amazon *affiliate link*) and I can’t wait to experience the sounds and the sites of Moana in the new Dolby Cinema at AMC near us.

What makes Dolby Cinema at AMC unique? You’ll start by noticing vibrant colors and spectacular imaging on screen. Then you’ll hear sound that moves all around you. Next, you’ll notice the amazingly comfortable and spacious reserved recliners that pulsate with the action. It’s truly an awesome movie-going experience!

MOANA is an adventurous, tenacious and compassionate 16-year-old who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. Along the way, she discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity. Directed by the renowned filmmaking team of Ron Clements and John Musker (“The Little Mermaid,” “Aladdin,” “The Princess & the Frog”) and featuring newcomer Auli’i Cravalho as the voice of Moana, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Moana” sails into U.S. theaters on Nov. 23, 2016. ©2016 Disney. About Moana

Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped – and no one knows exactly why. From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes “Moana,” a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana (voice of Auli‘i Cravalho) meets the mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder. Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity.
