Signs of Fall – Photostory Friday GMYBS

Thursday, October 11, 2012 by Lolli 9 Comments

I’ve been so tired lately. Maybe it could have something to do with the amazingly beautiful weather and cool breeze relaxing me.

OK, maybe not. I’ve just been tired.

Today on my morning walk, I was struck by the sights and smells of Fall. I could have spent the entire day outside, enjoying the scent of pine laced with distant fireplace smoke. I didn’t realize til this morning how soothing that scent was, nor how nostalgic for my childhood that it would make me.

So far, there are only a few trees covered in deep red leaves, but I can feel Fall coming.

Bring it on.

And bring on the naps, too. *Yawn*

Fall is in the air here too. Some of our trees have shed all their leaves, but the apple trees are still holding on and still green. I love the beginnings f fall, the colors and the crisp mornings.

Our leaves are all gone here in Alaska and we do not have nearly as many colors. But, I love looking at them , too.

How gorgeous! There’s no sign of fall here yet. It’s still so crazy hot. :-P

Lovely red tree. We don’t get such colour here in the tropics.

Yes, it really s glorious! I just need to motivate myself to get more sleep at night so I can enjoy the beautiful weather more during daylight hours (although I must say….I love sleeping with the windows open and snuggling under my warm covers. :)
