Sprayground, VA

Tuesday, July 22, 2008 by Lolli Leave a Comment

Last week, we bombarded my sister’s house for the day. It was a HOT one, so we took the kids out for a quick stop at Wendy’s (everyone got a Frosty) and then for some cool play at the Sprayground. Everyone (even the older kids) had a good time (although Noodle and Kiwi purposely avoided the camera….)

My niece, Vanessa, adores her cousins, and my kids can’t get enough of her. You should have seen the hugs and kisses and heard the squeals when we got to their house. Happy day!

It was tough to get any pictures of the kids because they were RUNNING the entire time. Why they weren’t totally worn out after this, I don’t know!

Taco took on the project of “wetting” the entire half-circle bench-thing. Half a minute after he had wet an area, it was dry again! Poor guy.

Taco’s eyes aren’t really this color (they’re light blue), and I promise that I didn’t change the color on my computer….it was just an awesome combination of light and reflection. Click on the picture to get a larger preview.
The temp outside that day was just under 100 degrees plus humidity. There’s NO way that Apple could have been cold! Maybe tired??
Scratch that…he had PLENTY of energy left in him. Maybe it was the frosty and the fries.
As we were getting ready to clean up and leave, I caught a few cute pictures of my sister and niece interacting. Andrea’s such a good mom!

Muahh!

After the park, we took the kids back to the apartment. We discovered that 6 kids, hardwood floors, and a downstairs neighbor studying for the boards is NOT a good mix. I guess DDR was not the greatest choice….but we sure did have fun!! Look! A rare video! :)

And for dinner….we took all 6 kids to CiCi’s for a pizza feast. Um, I mean a cinnamon roll feast. Boy, are those things good!
After we’d loaded the car to drive home, the kids discovered this:

I am sad that I didn’t pull out my good camera for this picture, because the people are totally blurred from the ACTION, but-hey!-you can still tell they’re having fun!
