Spring Break Plans

Sunday, March 28, 2010 by Lolli 14 Comments

I look forward to Spring Break every year. It’s one of my favorite times of the year with my kids. Full of traditions.

Here’s a little sneak peak at what we’ll be doing this coming week (click the links to see our Spring Break fun from years past):

* Our annual trip to the National Zoo with our friends who are moving this Summer. (so sad)

* Our big annual trip to “Plane Park,” where we watch the planes land at National Airport.

* Easter pictures!

* Easter egg dying (and lots of Deviled egg eating!)

* Hanging out with cousin Chick.

* And lots of photo editing. Yesterday, I had my first official maternity photo shoot. It might possibly have been my favorite photo shoot ever.  I think I had about 120 favorites. If only I had been this beautiful pregnant (or otherwise. Geesh!)

When is your Spring Break? Do you have any Spring Break traditions?

    Great photos, as usual. I’m looking forward to my teacher-daughter having spring break next week which means I get more time with the little ones. This week will be crazy busy but it’s mostly so I don’t have to work next week. Hope you have a lovely break!

    My boys are spending spring break this year with my in laws. They moved 4 hours away last summer, so the boys haven’t seen them much since then. We’ll go up there for Easter and leave the boys, and she’ll bring them back at the end of the week. :)

    Spring break here involves a visit to my parents for some much needed relaxation. *Smile*

    Our Spring Break starts a week from tomorrow. Jon and I need to sit down and make some plans because after that week Jon will (hopefully) go back to work and I’ll be crazy busy with work too. It comes at the perfect time.

    Love the pictures. She’ll be THRILLED. :)

    That’s so sad! I was expecting Spring Break to be shortened for us, too, because of the extra week and a half that the kids missed because of the snow. But the district waived the extra snow days because our area was declared an official “state of emergency” during the storm. So not only do we have a break, but it’s extra long this year–10 days. Go figure!

    No Spring Break here this year. Due to the massive amount of snow we have, our kids are going to school through Thursday. So we just have a 3 day weekend.
