Sundance in August – Photostory Friday GMYBS

Thursday, August 30, 2012 by Lolli 9 Comments

During my last few days in Utah last weekend, I had the chance to revisit an old favorite place. After a nice lunch next to a soothing mountain stream, I took a walk around with my camera. I could picture the similar walks around Sundance that I took years ago with CandyMan, when we were students at BYU, just 15 minutes down the Canyon. I could imagine the Cowboy Storyteller (or was he a poet?) telling us stories by camp fire, and the student talent shows with the funny acts.

But this weekend, I was at Sundance with fellow bloggers at the half-way point of our full day Hyundai test drive through the mountains. I would have loved to spend more time reminiscing at Sundance, but the photos that I caught will have to do.

CRAZY! Had I gone there, we would’ve been there together!
I got accepted but my best friend didn’t and we didn’t want to be on opposite sides of the US so I went to school in Massachusetts and she went in NJ…and then she transferred to…Utah State ;)

I was there from 1992 to 1997. And you’re right – Utah is clean, isn’t it? Love the natural beauty!

Didn’t know you went to BYU. I almost went there as well. Wonder if we would’ve been there at the same time….
