This Photostory Friday is like the Holidays. Busy.

Thursday, December 16, 2010 by Lolli 17 Comments

The hours and minutes seem to accelerate during the Holidays, and despite the fact that there’s so much to do and so much to keep track of, these holiday experiences are the moments I enjoy the most out of the entire year.

For today’s Photostory Friday and Give Me Your Best Shot, I have a few additional pictures from my dad’s visit this last weekend. Doesn’t he look like the greatest Dad and Grandpa?

me and my dad

Grandpa and my niece

While my sister and nieces were here, we were finally able to convince my niece to put on my old favorite ballet costume. My sister has a picture of herself wearing it when she was V’s age. You’ve got to check out the hilarious then and now pictures she posted a little while back!

Can you tell what this is?

water drops on an egg

If you guessed water droplets on an egg, you guessed right! Ha.

Yesterday, AJ whipped this little alphabet up. Each letter was unique, and he was telling me all about the pirate one or the man-eating shark one….The kid is 5, for crying out loud!

AJ's alphabet

And, finally, we’re getting our first snow of the season that is sticking. My kids have been sledding in the front yard and loving it. I prefer to stay warm and dry. Except to go out to catch a few pictures…

Now it’s your turn. What have you been up to this week?

Before you head off for some weekend fun, be sure to stop by my current giveaways. You won’t want to miss the $129 Tempur-Pedic pillow I’m giving away! And tomorrow I’ll be giving away chocolate. Chocolate and sleep….two of my favorite things!

I’m going to show Jack your little guy’s alphabet. That’s totally up his alley. I LOVE when they’re creative like that!!

And snow? I’m jealous of your snow. Today I was finishing some last minute shopping, wearing yoga pants, flip flops, a tank, and a light sweater. I was sweating, but refused to take off the sweater. I refuse to been in a tank top in December!!

That ABC drawing is just plain fantastic! Not many 5-year olds have the patience nor the creativity to come up with something like that. :)

Me too!! Last night, I started feeling horrible! I’ve been wearing two sweatshirts and sweatpants all day, with all over body aches. I am crabby tonight. Why won’t these kids stop making noise and go to sleep?!

Your dad looks like a wonderful person. I love his smile. He has very kind eyes. Kind eyes are my favorite thing about a person. I love them more than any other feature. So glad he could come for a visit!
