100 Congressional Offices Visited – Wordless Wednesday

Tuesday, February 12, 2013 by Lolli 14 Comments

Monday 2/11/13 was an incredible day. Together with over 100 women and men – bloggers, pediatricians, partner organizations, students, business owners – my group of 7 Maryland women walked up and down and back and forth on Capitol Hill, meeting with as many of our local Congressmen as we could. At the end of the day, 100 offices were visited spreading the message of Shot@Life. What an incredible event to be a part of!

Note: I have been in Washington D.C. For the last few days training to be an advocate for the Shot@Life program, sponsored by the United Nations Foundation. My accommodations were covered by the UNF. I will be telling you more about it soon!

Love it! Some PSMM bloggers were there, too.

I noticed the Democratic Whip’s last name, Hoyer. I wonder if he’s related to my dh’s family. I’ll have to ask.
