Spring Break is one of my favorite times for spending time with my kids. The weather is nicer than Winter Break, so we can spend time outdoors and exploring things around the DC area. And the time is shorter than Summer Break so we don’t get tired of each other (wait….did I really say that?)….

Project 365 {Week 13}
Spring break is in full swing and I’m loving taking it easy for a change. This morning, I woke up at 8:30, without an alarm….and was so happy with myself. Until my husband reminded me that the power to my bed side clock had gone out the day before and the time was actually 10:30….
The Time I Made Armie Hammer Speechless…
One of the highlights of this past month was the chance that I had to get on a phone call with Armie Hammer, the incredibly handsome actor who plays Prince Alcott in the movie Mirror Mirror, which opens in theaters today (March 30). Armie totally won me over in the movie, but after I had…

ZUMBA®, Salonpas, and Sleep – Wordless Wednesday
I love to dance. I need to exercise more often. I love when I can combine something I love with something I need to do. It’s the best of both worlds. Except in MY world, I have a bad knee. I have to sleep with a pillow under my left knee every night because of…
Southwest Biscuit Bowls Recipe
I grew up in California, and so many of my favorite dishes when I was a kid were inspired by the food that came from South of the border. Before I graduated high school, I wanted to take some of my favorite recipes with me, and this is one of the entrees that made it…
I’m a YesVideo Ambassador! #YesMemory
I have a little tradition on Sunday afternoons. Other than taking a nap, of course. I listen to my toddlers talk in their silly, slurry accents. I watch my older kids bottle feed their little siblings for the first time. I listen to my Grandma tell stories and play songs on the piano with my…
