Aunt Fannie’s Food-Based Cleaners #HealthierHousekeeping

Thursday, September 29, 2016 by Lolli 2 Comments

This week my kids and I took on the family cleaning with Aunt Fannie’s Cleaning Vinegar as part of a sponsored post for Aunt Fannie’s. All thoughts are my own. #HealthierHousekeeping #NaturalCleaning

My Grandma was a firm believer in vinegar. For everything. So when I had the chance to try Aunt Fannie’s Cleaning Vinegar this week, I felt like I was heading back to my roots. Grandma would have approved. Grandma used vinegar for cleaning before natural cleaning products needed to be called “natural.”

A few years ago, I probably wouldn’t have cared that much about what was in our cleaning products. A lot has changed in our home since then. Now, I make a lot of the products that we use at home, particularly for skin care. I’ve always been a fan of making our foods from whole, real foods. And so adding non-toxic, food-based cleaners just made sense for our family.

Let me introduce you to the two amazing products from Aunt Fannie’s that we’ve been trying:

Aunt Fannie’s FlyPunch! – this is a natural, non-toxic, and totally safe product that is perfect for families that eat lots of fresh fruit and vegetables (especially those families like mine that have a bunch of garden vegetables lining all of the empty spaces in the kitchen). We always have a ton of produce out – from apples and bananas to onions and tomatoes.

Just today, I found not one but two bags of “forgotten” lemons, and I have a bunch of bananas that need to be made into banana bread ASAP. Once the fruit flies come, it can be so difficult to get rid of them, and of course I’m hesitant to use anything that could potentially compromise our food. I love FlyPunch! because it is safe AND it works. It’s also 100% guaranteed!

Aunt Fannie’s Cleaning Vinegars – I’ve kept my kids active in the kitchen since they were little. Aunt Fannie’s Cleaning Vinegars are a great food-based cleaning solution that are perfect for getting kids to help with the cleaning without having to worry about harsh or toxic chemicals. It smells great and is super effective in cleaning up all of our messes.

I love the idea of healthier housekeeping and of not having to wipe down the counter AFTER cleaning it because I want to put food down (raise your hand if you’ve ever cleaned the cleaner off the counter to make it safe for food!!).

Aunt Fannie’s cleaning and pest solutions are so pure they can be used on or around food. For more product information: visit https://www.auntfanniesco.com/product-category/cleaning-solutions/

You’ll want to contact the brand for any questions about the cleaner. I’m just a normal mom with a blog who tried the cleaners out. :)
