Crazy for Pumpkin Carving – PSF GMYBS Linky

Thursday, October 20, 2011 by Lolli 10 Comments

It’s that time of year again!!

I found pumpkins at Aldi’s for $2.49 (two-forty-nine?!) and so I bought three. Reese has been begging me daily to carve one of them.

Apparently she REALLY wanted to carve a pumpkin, because she chose to stay home carving while I took the other kids out for ice cream.

Yeah, I know!

Want to guess what the pumpkin says?

“Happy Halleen,” of course….Oops.

So fun. We really need to get on the ball! The squirrels ate on already so we don’t plan to carve the rest until Saturday!

my kids hate to carve pumpkins – well, I take that back – they LOVE to watch me and hubbie carve them – but refuse to touch anything! hahaha

We usually don’t get many pumpkins, but this year I will probably buy a few more since they’re so cheap. I love it! (and, no, she was really bored with it… lol!)

She couldn’t wait to dig her hands into the guts. I’m sure you couldn’t tell she was enjoying that… ;)

Thank you for the reminder to check Aldi….I love pumpkin seeds, but don’t love paying $15 for a pumpkin!

She didn’t enjoy that at all, did she?

Ooh! My kids hate the guts inside the pumpkin… they also can’t spell, so we don’t have to worry about typos like that. Haha!
